In early 2012, I helped my mom open a vintage furniture store called Simple Changes. I spent countless hours in the store displaying new pieces and painting furniture, but I always dreamed of opening my own store. My boyfriend at the time, who would eventually become my husband, also helped when ever he could. Five years later, after an amazing wedding in Ocean City and honeymoon in Hawaii, we decided to open our own store (right next to my moms) and call it Paisley Lace Boutique.
